Something caught my attention when reading over Carson’s third post about WA-P. The new system is being designed (from the ground up) to allow users to recommend new content and training resources. This goes well beyond a typical “suggestion box” setting, it allows the membership to essentially decide where the site will go training-wise.
The current system is great but…
That’s the $64,000 question. As a member of Wealthy Affiliate for over two years, I’ve seen one price increase from $29/month to $39/month (you can still join for $29/month if you pre-pay). Luckily, I’m Grandfathered in at the original monthy rate 
My guess is that Wealthy Affiliate Platinum will cost more (and will be well worth it). However, I also know that you will be Grandfathered in at the rate you join at, so Join Today to Lock In Your rate – even as the price goes up!
In Late September, the third version of Wealthy Affiliate will be released. Kyle and Carson are calling the new overhaul Wealthy Affiliate Platinum.
In typical Wealthy Affiliate fashion, details or WA-P are a bit sketchy (these guys love to do this to us – kill us with anticipation), however, If WA-P is anything like recent unveilings then we’re definitely in for a treat.
What we know so far:
The infrastructure that WA runs on is being completely redesigned. To quote Carson “Content is going to flow through the gates of the Training Center on a daily basis, utilizing a technology that Kyle and I have spent the past year developing.”
We also know that WA-P will have additional training that Wealthy Affiliate doesn’t tackle. My guess is they’ll be delving more into social web sites, maybe even product creation?
I’ll close this post with one more quote from Carson: “In September 2009 WA will be the ONLY place that an Internet marketer needs to go to fulfill their hunger for knowledge, tools, support, and success! Be here and you’ll wake to a breath of fresh air in the world of Internet marketing education and training.”

This content can easily be edited in the footer.php file of the theme. If you activate widgets in the footer, this content will all be replaced with your widgets. Or, you can simple disable the entire section in the theme options.
